10/10, such a perfect choice for my first solo travel experience. This hostel has AMAZING staff, great location, and overall was such a friendly space to make friends and socialize. Felt very safe and clean. Staff members are genuinely cool people that make the whole experience. Specific shout out to Eoin, Alice, Jeff, Abby, and Gabby for being awesome. Will definitely have to come back.

Just stayed for a week here – my second time staying at this hostel since 2020. Culture of the staff and guests is amazing, so warm and friendly and inviting. They do an amazing job of creating a sense of belonging for everyone, and you can see it comes from the staff’s strong sense of family. The hostel attracts lots of amazing guests who you can easily befriend. Free dinners every night make it easier to travel on a budget. Would highly recommend if you are traveling solo or with a friend and looking for fun in Barcelona.

I’ve stayed in over 20 hostels and I have to say this is one of the best hostels i’ve ever stayed in. As soon as you come in they treat you like family. They have a great outdoor patio and activities during the day and night. It’s a smaller hostel so you have a real community feel. The bathrooms are super clean and the beds have curtains and AC that works great. Not only this but the staff are incredible specifically Clari, Augustine, Isabell, Jackie, Kid, Luisa, James (the chef).

What is the price and what services are included in the rate?

The cost varies based on room type and availability. All reservations include a bed, access to common areas such as the kitchen, and the opportunity to participate in our day and night activities.

What type of rooms do you offer and how many beds are in each room?

We provide a range of room choices, including a Private Twin with shared bathroom, 2 Bed Mixed Dorm, 4, Bed Mixed Dorm, 6 Bed Mixed Dorm, 8 Bed Mixed Dorm.

Are there private rooms available or only shared dormitories?

At Onefam Paralelo we have a twin private with a shared bathroom

What are the cancellation and refund policies?

Standard Rate: After the booking is made, we will charge the 1st night as a deposit. This deposit is fully refundable, given that you cancel 2 full days before your scheduled check-in. Failure to cancel within this time will result in a cancellation charge equal to the first night of your stay. If you do not show up for your reservation we may charge the first night of the accommodation to your credit card. Non-Refundable Rate: If your booking is non refundable the full amount will be charged in advance. If you choose to cancel your booking, or in the case of a no-show, you will be charged the full cost of your booking. Cancellations are only accepted via e-mail and must be received at least 2 full days before arrival. If you have made a “non-refundable” reservation on OnefamHostels.com, Hostelworld or Booking.com, you won’t be entitled to a refund if you cancel.

How to get to the hostel from the Airport?

By Aerobús: Take the Aerobús (A1 or A2) from the airport to Plaça Espanya and take the metro. / Metro: From Plaça Espanya, take the L3 (Green Line) towards Zona Universitària and get off at Poble Sec. Onefam Paralelo is a short walk from the Poble Sec metro station. Get into the metro and transfer to the L3 (Green Line) at Passeig de Gràcia towards Zona Universitària and get off at Poble Sec. Take the L9 Sud (Orange Line) from the airport to Zona Universitària. Change to the L3 (Green Line) towards Trinitat Nova and get off at Poble Sec. Exit the station and walk to Onefam Paralelo. By Taxi: Taxis are readily available at the airport. Just give the driver the address of Onefam Paralelo. / By Ride-sharing Apps: Uber/Cabify: You can also use ride-sharing apps like Uber or Cabify to get directly to Onefam Paralelo.
