Such a great hostel. Super well organized and clean, with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were clean and things like towels, earplugs, luggage storage were available. So many activities as well to meet people and have group meals etc. Best of all was the location, close to the water and lots of restaurants… right in the centre of the action. Loved it!!!!

I don’t usually review hostels or even hotels, but in this case, it was really necessary. This hostel was by far one of the best i have ever been at. Starting from the amazing hosts, amazing location, great activities, and great energy overall. As for the rooms, the bed was comfortable, and rooms were quiet and clean. As for the other shared spaces perfectly clean. If you wanna enjoy your trip to Porto, just book this hostel, it is 100% worth it, met great people had fun evenings and made loads of great memories. Special thanks to Frazier for being an absolute beast of a host.

We stayed in the private room which was great — no noise, private bathroom and plugs by the outlets. There were actually 3 beds (1 bunk bed and 1 single). It was very lovely.I also recommend this hostel for anyone on a budget and who wants to meet folks and make friends. The hostel is bustling with activities throughout the day, there is an opportunity for a free family dinner (which was usually a hearty meal) and cheap drinks + night outs.

What is the price and what services are included in the rate?

The cost varies based on room type and availability. All reservations include a bed, access to common areas such as the kitchen, and the opportunity to participate in our day and night activities.

What type of rooms do you offer and how many beds are in each room?

We provide a range of room choices, including a Double Private Shared Bathroom, Twin Private Shared Bathroom, Twin Private Ensuite , Triple Private Ensuite, 4 Bed Dorm Views, 4 Bed Dorm Ensuite, 4 Bed Dorm, 6 Bed Dorm Ensuite.

Are there private rooms available or only shared dormitories?

At Onefam Ribeira we have a Double Private Shared Bathroom, Twin Private Shared Bathroom, Twin Private Ensuite and Triple Private Ensuite.

What are the cancellation and refund policies?

Standard Rate: After the booking is made, we will charge the 1st night as a deposit. This deposit is fully refundable, given that you cancel 2 full days before your scheduled check-in. Failure to cancel within this time will result in a cancellation charge equal to the first night of your stay. If you do not show up for your reservation we may charge the first night of the accommodation to your credit card. Non-Refundable Rate: If your booking is non refundable the full amount will be charged in advance. If you choose to cancel your booking, or in the case of a no-show, you will be charged the full cost of your booking. Cancellations are only accepted via e-mail and must be received at least 2 full days before arrival. If you have made a “non-refundable” reservation on OnefamHostels.com, Hostelworld or Booking.com, you won’t be entitled to a refund if you cancel.

How to get to the hostel from the Airport?

By metro, take Line E (Purple) from the airport to Trindade station. Transfer to Line D (Yellow) and head towards São Bento. From São Bento, it’s a short walk to Onefam Ribeira. The journey takes about 45-50 minutes. By bus, take the 601 or 602 bus to Cordoaria. From there, it’s a 10-minute walk to Onefam Ribeira. This takes about 45-50 minutes. Alternatively, a taxi ride directly from the airport to Onefam Ribeira takes around 20-25 minutes.
